Why are pads made by IMTC particularly durable?
We solely use premium certified materials within the latest manufacturing processes. 4C-print takes place directly on the back of the surface foil not - as commonly used - subsequently laminated paper. Why are mouse pads made by IMTC an efficient advertising media?
Mouse pads have been recognized as an important accessory to the PC-workstation. Central placement next to the keyboard puts them always in sight. The large available advertising area can be designed optimal for each (advertising-) purpose due to the comprehensive options of print and shape. As a result of the high utility value the acceptance of mouse pads is great. Not even the introduction of new scanning technologies ("optical mouse") has changed this fact. Numerous special solutions e.g. self-adhesive pads, travel pads for portable applications or attractive combinations of mouse pads, desk pads and hand rests still increase the advertising efficiency.
Does IMTC produce abroad?
No, all IMTC pads are "Made in Germany". We use this opportunity to secure our high-quality standards in the future. More information regarding quality here.

What is the difference between press stamped and high-frequency welded pads?
Press stamped pads facilitate the maximum degree of flexibility regarding shapes, variety of surfaces and material thickness. Adequate mounting materials are glued together firmly and subsequently press stamped into designed shape.
High-frequency welded pads feature compact ergonomically rounded edges. Due to the high-frequency method used to firmly weld the edges of surface and base these pads are particularly durable and liquid-resistant, too.

Does IMTC offer finished images, too?
Our image library offers our customers complete master illustrations for designing pads. Alternatively to an individual customer motive attractive pads can be realized with little effort. Adding logos and text individualize the motives additionally.
Miscellaneous layouts of IMTC calendar pads are available in EPS format. These layouts include current calendars and can be completed with individual customer data to a finished calendar pad.
Which shapes and formats are possible?
More than twenty years of producing mouse pads enables us to offer a considerable selection of existing shapes, next to standard sizes, to our customers. Round, square or "special shape" – please acquire our extensive assortment of shapes here.
If you do not find a suitable shape for your specific pad we will gladly create your individual design properly upon your specifications! Please contact us for the realization of your requests.
Are IMTC mouse pads suitable for optical mice?
Generally all mouse pads made by IMTC are suitable for the use of optical mice. Compared to conventional mice with tracking balls the scanning accuracy of optical mice can vary due to different sensors. Best scanning results can be obtained by our "optical optimized" mouse pads. These pads feature a special texture for optical scanning systems.
Do modern mice in fact need mouse pads?
Some mice may function being used directly on the desk top. However it is not an alternative to a reliable mouse pad in the long run. The missing comfort as well as numerous scanning problems clearly accentuate the need of a pad. Contrary to some advertising statements optical mice are particularly "demanding" in regards to a suitable surface. Our steadily growing assortment of "optical optimized” mouse pads strongly proves: Mouse pads are more up-to-date than ever!
Does the printed motive affect the function of the optical mouse?
In very rare cases mouse pads made of PVC-structure-foil showing motives with numerous fine lines can lead to irritations of the optical system of some mouse models. Our recommendation for critical motives is the use of our pads made of "optical optimized" surfaces. These pads ensure optimal handling of optical mice due to its special surface.
Which print procedures are available?
Dependent on pad model or rather pad surface the selection can be made between 4C-Offset print, 4C-Digital print and Screen printing. We additionally offer opportunities to refine pads by embossment, embroidery, rhinestone fitting or engraving.
Which printing method is applicable for my motive?
Virtually all motives can be processed in 4C-Offset print. Layouts with reduced contents for example unicolored or bicolored logos or laminar artwork with special colors can be converted convincingly and economically to the screen printing method. Our staff will gladly be of service regarding the selection of the suitable printing method.
How do print data have to be prepared?
Optimal printing results are given if crucial details regarding transmitted data have been fulfilled. Please find the necessary information under print data info.
Which are the most common errors regarding print data transfer?
The format has been created in the wrong size The extension of 2 mm each is missing (regarding over-edge motives) Graphic data have not been converted from RGB into CMYK mode The resolution of the print file is too low
What to pay attention to regarding the proof?
The customer receives a proof of his motive in digital-proof form for release before the print procedure begins. Upon receipt of the signed proof we will start production of the desired quantity. Due to the large number of different products in conjunction with diverse proof versions we are unable to give overall recommendations regarding the evaluation of proofs. An individual description is enclosed with each proof to show essential measures to be taken.
Why is a pdf-file not suitable as proof?
Common PC-hardware such as monitors and printers are incapable to perform color-binding print data. Therefore our customers always receive a contract proof for release prior to beginning of the print procedure.
Why is the scheduled release date of proofs important?
The production is planned in accordance to the customers´ release date. If this release date is not met the delivery may be delayed up to 10 working days due to technical reasons - even if delayed by only one day.
What is the anticipated lead time?
Our delivery time is on average 15 working days upon receipt of your release. Please arrange required dates in advance with our sales department.
Our Over Night pads represent an exception: these mouse pads are processed in 4C-digital print and particularly designed for short production periods and smaller orders.
